My husband and I are high school sweethearts from Florida and consider ourselves to be one of the lucky ones! Our names are Aj and Brittney Posikan, we are happily married with two beautiful babies! When things started to shut down during the pandemic much like many others it caused us to take a long hard look at our lives and the paths we were both going down. Although the paths we were on were successful career paths there still seemed to be that feeling that something was missing. We wanted to slow down, spend more time with our children, and not work our lives away for a standard 9-5 job. We wanted SO much more than that out of life! Our dream was to build something that we could be proud of and pass down to our children. With no end in sight for the pandemic and a rapidly increasing population of the city we were living in we started to feel a pull to take a leap, find a different place to plant our roots, and most importantly to slow down. So, Aj quit his 9-5, we bought a 5th wheel, sold our house, and hit the road to find that little slice of heaven that would make our dreams come true! This was no easy task at the time and took months of searching but we finally found that perfect spot in the mountains of East Tennessee nestled within a little city called Limestone. We are perfectly positioned between Greeneville and Jonesborough Tennessee. We put an offer in, closed, and were finally were able to move into our little 1938 farmhouse resting on 17.6 acres. We are making our dreams come true together baling Hay, growing fresh produce, raising meat chickens, raising laying chickens, milking goats, playing with bunnies, preparing for horses/cows, & baking sourdough bread the old-fashioned way. AJ even built the most adorable A-Frame for others to come visit us at the farm. We also rent out our RV for those who want to stay right here on the farm in our barn or for those who want us to deliver and set it up for them to vacation at the local areas! As you can see our hands are full and so are our hearts. We are excited you are here and are following along with our journey!
